Trezor Suite

Desktop & web app for managing your hardware wallet

Securely manage, trade and protect your crypto

Trezor Suite is the companion app for Trezor hardware wallets that lets you control your cryptocurrency in a private, intuitive interface — without exposing your private keys to the internet. Manage wallets, send and receive funds, check portfolio performance, and connect to decentralized apps while keeping your seed offline.

What it does

Trezor Suite provides a secure, polished experience for everyday crypto tasks. It acts as a bridge between your hardware device and the blockchain: you use the desktop or web interface to compose transactions and view balances, while every sensitive action (signing, confirming addresses) happens on the Trezor device itself.

Key features

Trezor Suite focuses on simplicity without sacrificing control.

Hardware-backed security

Private keys never leave your device. Every signing event must be confirmed on the Trezor hardware screen.

Portfolio overview

Track balances and performance across multiple accounts and blockchains.

Coin and token support

Send and receive major cryptocurrencies and many ERC-20 tokens.

Transaction preview

Inspect and confirm addresses and amounts on the device before signing.

Advanced settings

Custom fees, derivation paths, hidden wallets, and developer tools.

Privacy-first design

Minimized telemetry, local data storage, and optional privacy-enhancing integrations.

Security & best practices

Security is the core of Trezor Suite because the hardware wallet model assumes your private keys remain offline. Use these guidelines to keep funds safe:

  • Always initialize a new device using the on-device entropy and write your recovery seed on a physical backup. Never store the seed in a digital file.
  • Confirm every transaction on the Trezor device screen — addresses and amounts must match what you expect.
  • Keep firmware and suite software up to date; updates include security improvements and new coin support.
  • Use passphrases (hidden wallets) with care: a passphrase extends the seed but must be memorized or stored securely.

Trezor Suite is designed so that even if the computer is compromised, an attacker cannot sign transactions without physical access to the Trezor device and the necessary confirmations.

Getting started

To start, download the desktop app or open the Suite in a modern browser and connect your Trezor device via USB. Follow the on-screen setup to initialize or restore a wallet. The app detects your device automatically and guides you through firmware checks, pin setup, and recovery seed creation.

Pro tip: After setup, test with a small transaction to confirm send/receive flows before moving larger amounts.

FAQ

Q: Can I use Trezor Suite with multiple devices?

A: Yes. Suite supports multiple Trezor devices and multiple hidden wallets per device — each wallet is isolated and managed separately.

Q: Is my data shared with third parties?

A: The Suite aims to minimize telemetry. Address lookups and blockchain queries may use public nodes or indexers — check your privacy settings to control network usage.

Q: What if I lose my device?

A: If you have a recovery seed, you can restore your wallet on another Trezor or a compatible wallet that understands the same seed format. If someone else finds your device without the seed and PIN, they still cannot access your funds.
